Innovation cooperations are one of the most effective instruments in competition. Already in 1970 the city administration of Toronto delivered for it an impressive example: With "Business Improvement District" (BID) the zones which were determined for the common economical development were shown. As soon as more as 50% of the property adjoining owners had agreed, the investments were put down in the development of the (BID) on everybody. There were no fare dodgers and the economic success was benefitting for all. Today innovation cooperations offer also the possibility to divide investments. Market expenses, customer expenses and distribution expenses are minimised. The common established clientele and the common image of the suppliers raise the prospects of success.
